New ipad slower than the ipad 2

Several users have begun to complain about the performance of the new iPad and some tests seem to confirm that the device may even be slower than the previous one.

The tests that have been done are far from showing that the processor of the iPad 3 , the A5X, is four times better performance than Tegra 3, as stated by Phil Schiller from Apple.

Tests published by Anandtech even put Tegra 3 installed in an Asus Transformer Prime ahead in several tests. And even worse, there are tests where the iPad 3 lags behind the iPad 2.

This analysis seems to confirm the complaints of some users, who guarantee that the iPad 3 is slower than the previous one in opening pages of digital magazines. Such slowness should be caused by the extra resolution that the four graphics processing cores do not seem to solve.

Remember that when it comes to general processing, the A5X is identical to the A5: dual-core ARM 9 processor.
