In an event that may or may not be accidental, Sony Pictures has published a full-length movie on YouTube instead of what should be just a trailer to promote the release on DVD and digital platforms 😲 . One user noticed the fact and posted the video link in the Reddit community dedicated to movies.
The film in question was Khali the Killer , a police drama directed and written by Jon Matthews and starring actor Richard Cabral. He tells the story of a rent killer who decides to do one last job before retiring to help his grandmother financially, but begins to sympathize with the victims and is “forced to make the hardest choice of his life.” you can watch the trailer bellow :
The fact that it was a smaller production by US industry standards, with a budget of only US $ 1 million , even raised the suspicions of some people, who believed it was a marketing move of Sony Pictures to promote a film little known until then.
Anyway, Sony did not respond to requests for comments on the situation and took the film out of the air moments after the link began to be shared.
