With the dramatic rise in Huawei’s popularity over the past year, many people are eager to see how the company’s new smartphone will be. With a release date scheduled for March 26, that is, for exactly one month from now, the P30 may have been precociously revealed through an image that shows the device as a prototype.
Who got the picture was the publication Digital Trends, who claimed to have had closed-door access to the P30 prototype in MWC 2019, getting a lot of important information about the smartphone. In terms of design, it appears to be a modernized version of the P20 Pro with the camera sensors together and the edges smoothed.
The camera seems to be powerful by several clues, such as the resemblance to Leica’s 50mm Summitar lens. This reaffirms a rumor that the device would have a 10x zoom camera. On the negative side, the prototype did not feature the classic P2 (3.5 mm) input for headphones. Nothing has been seen about the notch on the front because Digital Trends can not see the unfinished P30 screen.
When it comes to the specifications of the P30, nothing is yet known. Even with this interesting little taste of what the next Huawei smartphone will be like, we’ll still have to wait another month to really know what it’s capable of.
