Android users know that Google often christens their new versions of the mobile operating system with cute names like “Ice Cream Sandwich”, “KitKat” or “Marshmallow”? Well, since the announcement of the next issue, Android P, a lot of people have been trying to guess what the nickname would be and behold, a Huawei employee may have revealed the same accidentally.
According to the Polish site Tabletowo, one of its readers contacted the Chinese company’s support for updates on the P9 Mini Lite and P9 Lite 2017. Upon receiving the responses, the user was surprised by a mention of the Android Pistachio .

It’s not the first time that Android P is called that. In February, Bloomberg also cited the novelty with something similar, “Pistachio Ice Cream.” Well, this mystery is very close to being unraveled. It is already available in the testing phase for multiple devices and a more stable option can be released in August, with wider distribution over the next few months.
